My May beauty box from Birchbox arrived on Friday. I didn’t post about my April box as it got lost so a second was sent. By the time it arrived it was weeks after everyone else’s so I didn’t see the point in posting about it. Plus some of the contents were things I’d had in previous boxes, rather than the proper April products, so it was a bit disappointing. This month though I am a happy bunny again.
Red Carpet Ready is the theme of the May beauty box from Birchbox; here’s what I got in mine:
OPI Nail Lacquer Dutch ‘Ya Just Love OPI NLH55 – From The Holland collection, this miniature 3.75ml nail polish is a pretty plum shade with a rose gold shimmer running through it. Pretty!
Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator – I literally just ran out of my Yon-Ka Pamplemousse so the timing of this could not be better! Smells fab and scrummy looking natural ingredients. It’s a 30ml tube.
B/Attitude Body Soufflé – This is a new brand to me. This soufflé smells gorgeous, rich and luxurious. I can’t wait to try it. It’s a 50ml tub.
Makebelieve Enhance Luminize Skin Highlighter – I’ve never tried anything from this make-up range before. This looks pretty and will be fab in the summer for enhancing a tan. It’s full-size 2.5g.
Doctor Duve Anti-Aging & Firming Eye Cream – This is a ‘beauty extra’. Eye creams are totally on my radar at the moment as sleep is something I’m not getting much of and it shows around my eyes! These two sample sachets are very much appreciated this month!
Kusmi Detox Tea – This is a ‘lifestyle extra’. I actually already have one of these 20g tins from a previous beauty box when Birchbox was known as Boudoir Prive or Joliebox, I can’t remember which. I’m ashamed to say my other tin is still sitting in my kitchen cupboard. I will try it!
Also included was a little leaflet from Breakthrough Breast Cancer which shows how to quickly check your breasts. I’ve included it above so you can all go and check yours. Go on, do it now!
Throughout May Birchbox are donating 30% of e-shop sales to Fashion Targets Breast Cancer as well as donating £5 for every friend referral so please feel free to use my referral link: http://birchbox.co.uk/?raf=674. Birchbox beauty box costs £10 per month plus p+p.
What do you think of this month’s box? I really like it and am very impressed with Birchbox raising awareness of breast cancer and their support for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

DeleteThis looks like a lovely box. The nail polish colour is gorgeous, perfect for summer nights! I am looking to subscribe to a box but I heard that Ireland gets left with the crappy products! Don't know how true that is but will keep Birchbox in mind if they deliver here. Enjoy your new goodies Sian :)
