In my post about the Daily Facial Skincare products I use I mentioned a couple of facial oils that I use each day as part of my skincare regime. The oil I use in the morning is Neal’s Yard Remedies Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Oil.
This gorgeous facial oil contains a plethora of nourishing oils: macadamia seed, baobab seed, apricot kernel, castor seed, evening primrose, hemp, grape seed, frankincense, mandarin peel, bergamot peel, myrrh, turmeric root and sunflower seed!
It has a really spicy scent which really helps wake your skin up first thing in the morning. After cleansing (and toning if I can be bothered) I massage 3 or 4 drops of this oil into my skin. I then wait a few minutes and follow with my usual moisturiser.
The oil itself is so nourishing that there have been a couple of occasions that I have forgotten to apply my moisturiser and not realised! I’ve literally applied make-up and gone about my day, then it’s occurred to me hours later that I forgot to moisturise!
A 30ml bottle of Neal’s Yard Remedies Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Oil costs £26.75 and I get through about a quarter of the bottle per month, so it lasts ages and is good value for money.
Have you tried this facial oil? Or do you use serum? Or just moisturiser?
