I’m sure everyone has heard of Yes To, the natural skin and hair care company making products with organic fruit and vegetable extracts; their most popular range I would say is their Yes To Carrots line of products. Last month I was on the look out for a new cleanser for my evening skincare routine and the Yes To Blueberries Smoothing Daily Cleanser caught my eye.
Yes To Blueberries is the anti-aging line of skin care products with formulas clinically proven to help rejuvenate the skin and fight the signs of aging. I have used anti-aging skin care products since my early twenties – it is anti aging after all so what would be the point in using it after my skin starts to age?!
The ingredients include apples, blueberries (obvs) and lemon peel which are rich in AHAs and anti-oxidants to brighten and refresh the skin whilst efficiently removing all traces of grime and make-up. These ingredients also mean the cleanser smells lovely and refreshing. The cleanser is 95% natural and free from SLS, parabens and petroleum.
The thick, white, creamy cleanser is massaged onto dampened skin and then rinsed away, I like to use a muslin cloth to remove it for additional exfoliation. It removes all of my make-up easily, including mascara which I wear several coats of, so most of the time there is no need for me to use a separate eye-make up remover. This makes me very happy as come bedtime I am just too tired to faff about with lots of products! It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and fresh.
