I’ve never actually done a tag post before, despite being tagged in them in the past and seeing tag posts on other blogs. I saw this one on another blog and enjoyed reading the answers so thought I’d give it a go.
1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum, or a Working Mum?I’m a stay at home mum. I was an accountant before Little N came along but have been at home full time apart from a Saturday job I had for two months before Christmas.
2. Would you have it any other way?Absolutely not. I love being a stay at home mum and always said that this is what I would want to do if I had children. Of course I miss earning my own money and being able to impulse buy anything that caught my eye, but I still wouldn’t swap my life. I love spending every day with my gorgeous little boy. No amount of stuff could make up for the memories.
3. Do you co-sleep?Currently only part of the night. Little N now starts off in his cot and if he wakes in the night I bring him into bed with us. Until he was about 10 months (I think) he slept in our bed the whole night.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?My pram which is a Quinny Buzz 3. We live on the outskirts of town so I have a long walk to get anywhere. When N was first born we lived in the centre of town so I could just pop him in a sling!
5. How many kids do you plan on having?I’d love 3, but who knows what the future holds!
6. Date night? How many nights per month?Ermm, we’ve not yet had a date night! I’ve been reluctant to leave N with anyone, I’m sure his difficult birth makes me a bit anxious, but we have a date planned next weekend and hopefully it will become a monthly thing.
7. Your childs favourite show?Until this week N didn’t really watch TV, but I had CBeebies on in the background the other day and it turns out that he really, really loves Balamory. He’s worked out how to go into the recordings and put it on. Pretty impressive for a 15 month old!
8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and never ended up using?Soft leather baby shoes. Don’t bother with them!
9. Your child’s favourite food?Pasta with pesto. He also loves crisps, I have to hide if I’m eating them as he’ll bully me into giving them to him.
10. How many cars does your family have? One, but my partner takes it to work. I get use of it about once every two months.
11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during and after and now?I was 8st 9lb when I found out I was pregnant, I put on about 2st during my pregnancy, lost it within 2 weeks of giving birth and currently weigh 8st 4lb.
12. Dream holiday with your kids?Anywhere! I haven’t been on holiday since 2012! I would love to take N to New York.
13. Dream holiday without your kids?I can’t imagine leaving him but I guess a relaxing beach holiday would be amazing, somewhere like Barbados or Hawaii.
14. How has your life changed since your baby has been born?My life has changed completely; the biggest change obviously being that I gave up my job. I’ve also lost old friends, gained new friends, learnt an abundance of new skills, discovered unknown talents, and pretty much found the real me.
15. Finish the sentence: ‘It makes my heart melt to see …’Little N tottering over with his lips pouted, arms held out, going “mmmmmm”. I love his kisses and cuddles!
16. Where do you shop for your kids? For cloths, mostly Next as it’s pretty much the only decent shop in my town for children’s clothes. I do love Frugi as well so occasionally order a few bits from there. N has eczema so his bath and skin creams are prescribed, his wipes are usually from Waitrose. For food he has always eaten the same as us so I don’t buy him specific baby meals, although do get him toddler snacks, like Goodies Organix, from the supermarkets.
17. Favourite makeup and skincare products?I’m a complete product tart so I don’t really stick to any one skincare brand; I quite like Balance Me, Yes To and Neal’s Yard Remedies. For make up I like a mixture; I like Chanel foundation and Lancome mascaras but for everything else it’s whatever catches my eye.
18. Huggies or Pampers?Neither! I use cloth nappies. My partner doesn’t like them though so for his weekly nappy change he uses Sainsbury’s disposable nappies.
19. Have you always wanted kids?
I went through a phase in my early twenties of thinking I would never be capable of being a mother, but deep down I knew it was something I wanted more than anything else in the world.

20. Best part about being a mum?How could I possibly name just one thing! There are so many wonderful things, from the kisses and cuddles, getting to watch this tiny little human grow and learn, the love, the feeling of completeness. I love it all.
I tag: any Mummy who wants to have a go, I’m not going to pressure anyone by tagging them ;)
Aww I loved reading your answers :) Beau is terrible with the tv, she knows that the remote changes the screen so is always stealing it from me!! x
