Welcome to Happy Days! Katy and I host this linky with the purpose of inspiring you to make the most of each day, no matter what you've been up to, and to find happiness in every day. It's where I share the little moments that have brought me joy.
Here's what has made me happy this week
We're travelling home from our mini mini break today and so I'm a little behind with my comments. I haven't forgotten you, and will be catching up today!
Here's what has made me happy this week
• A trip to Brighton. It's been years since we've been but Ian had a work meeting there so the boys and I tagged along for the ride, grabbing lunch and mooching about in the lanes while Ian worked. And we spent the night at Hotel du Vin which is one of my favourite hotels!
• Finding my perfect wedding ring. My engagement ring is a 1930s antique which Ian got from Fidra, an antique jeweller in the lanes in Brighton. We went back there to look for wedding rings and straight away I was drawn to an art deco white gold ring. As I tried it on I told myself that if it was my size then it was the one. And it was!
• Dinner at Terre A Terre. These days most restaurants can tweak their menu to accommodate vegans, but Terre A Terre in Brighton is completely vegetarian and a lot of the menu is also vegan or has a vegan choice. It was nice to go somewhere and be spoilt for choice!
• J has lots of new words. He has added "football", "ball", "milk" and "more" to his vocabulary. I love asking him questions when I know the answer will be yes, just to hear his say "yesssss" in his lispy toddler style - totally cute!
• Online updates from Little N's school. I get so excited when I get a new notification, I love getting to peek at what he's been doing each day.
• Goodbye morning sickness. I think it may be leaving me, hurrah! I only feel sick now if I get hungry. I've been using some products from Myrtle & Maude to help me through and have a pack to give away here.
