The other day I got a bit over enthusiastic when pulling up my maternity jeans and ripped them. They're over-the-bump ones and now there is a big hole between the denim and the over-the-bump bit of fabric. You might have seen my Instagram story if you follow me there. I have to admit, they were getting rather snug, but I was trying to avoid buying another pair as I don't have much longer to go in this pregnancy. Big oops! Oh well, spring is almost here and we've been teased with a bit of sunshine, so great timing to embrace dresses instead!
The fabulous team at Tiffany Rose had sent me a couple of their absolutely beautiful maternity dresses to try out, what great timing! The dress I'm showing you today is their Willow Dress in Midnight Garden. It's a classic navy with pretty colourful flowers all over it. I simply adore this dress and wore it to my baby shower yesterday. It's from Tiffany Rose's range of "day dresses" but it is one of those outfits that can be dressed up or down, so I felt it was special enough for celebrating in.
This gorgeous floral printed jersey dress is lined with navy jersey too, so it feels really luxurious and drapes over my bump beautifully, if I do say so myself. It has a deep crossover v-neckline to the front and the back which adds a bit of glamour, and has a slim fit to just below the bust before flowing out over my bump.
The style just works for every occasion; parties, dinner, a relaxed day with the children - it's perfect for all. I spotted that Tiffany Rose sell satin sashes to go with their dresses and the navy one would be ideal for this dress, it would make it perfect to wear to a really special occasion such as a wedding or a christening.
I am totally in love with this Tiffany Rose dress and the crossover neckline means it will be suitable for breastfeeding which I am so happy about, as it means I will be able to continue wearing it after the baby is born! It's the ideal dress for spring days and summer evenings, don't you think? If you like the look of it you can find the dress here for £129.00.
Lovely to have something pretty to wear when pregnant #TriedTested

ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous. I love the back detailing on that dress #triedtested
ReplyDeleteOh sian it's lovely! the print is gorgeous and it's such a flattering shape too!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! So pretty, and you look absolutely amazing in it! #twinklytuesday
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I preferred wearing long tops/dresses. I had one pair of maternity jeans but never really wore them. Even now I prefer dresses and leggings.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! I am 19 weeks now but honestly look about 6months. I'm already on my 2nd pair of maternity jeans because my hips decided to expand again (or perhaps it was just the fact my backside is growing as fast as my belly!) I think I'll be embracing dresses with this one, especially as I am due in August. Arthur was a winter baby so it was a totally different t wardrobe. #twinklytuesday
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful dress - I need to pop over and have a look at the Tiffany Rose website, as I'm in desperate need of more maternity clothing :) #TwinklyTuesday

Aaah Sian — you look so beautiful!!! I wore a combo when I was pregnant with the boys. I loved dresses and maternity opaque tights — but my jeans were a lifesaver. Until the end when they wouldn't go over my bump!! Then it was leggings under dresses!!!! #TwinklyTuesday
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful Sian. What a beautiful dress, I love the detail on it, with the crossover. They have thought of everything when it comes to being pregnant and a new mama x #triedtested
