Those of you who follow me on my social media channels (links at the bottom if you don't!) will know that on Monday our beautiful baby girl finally made her arrival, in my living room, quickly and easily. She waited until 11 days past her due date so that she could share my birthday! And dodged a c-section by less than 24 hours. Talk about leaving it until the last minute! I hope this laid-back nature of hers continues now that she is finally earthside.

During the last month of my pregnancy I was contacted about trying a new range of pre- and post-natal products from My Expert Midwife. Developed by midwife and mum duo, Lesley and Claire, the range was developed to ease some of the less desirable physical side effects of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. The side effects that tend not to get talked about much, but really should! The four products in the range are: Spritz for Bits, No Harm Nipple Balm, Fantastic Skin Elastic and Peri Prep Your Bits. They have been specially developed to prevent and heal side effects like itchy, stretched skin, sore nipples and vaginal discomfort such as tears, bruising and episiotomies.

We're coming up to the end of the Easter holidays and boy, do I feel guilty. Every day on Facebook I see friends taking their children out to do all these amazing things. Noah will return to school next week and no doubt his friends will have tales of all the fun things they have been doing over the Easter break. Whereas us, we've not done much at all. And not because we don't want to.

Well, if writing a 40 week update was a surprise then this is a total shock! 41 weeks, whoever would have thought I'd get this far! I know in my last update I had talked about having an elective C-section at 40+5, but all that has changed. I'll explain more further on.
At 41 weeks pregnant my little Pip is about the size of a watermelon. She (yes, it's a girl!) is between 19-21 inches long and could weigh between 7-9lbs now. I do hope it's not much more than that! Here's what's been going on during my 41st week of pregnancy with baby number three.

Who has been enjoying the return of Line of Duty to our screens? Detective dramas and crime thrillers are my absolute favourite thing to read and watch, and the latest book to hit my shelf is Let the Dead Speak by award-winning crime writer, Jane Casey, which was sent to me to review.

I'm a total sucker for mama merch but have never been one to get drawn in by blogger merch. I've often seen other bloggers' children wearing tops saying "blogger" on them and they're cute, but they've just not been to my taste. These leggings from Lottie & Lysh however, are way more subtle and totally awesome. If you're a blogger, Instagrammer or just a snap-happy parent, your child needs something in this wicked camera print!

I was not expecting to be writing a 40 week update! With Noah arriving pretty much on time and Jude arriving a week early I really thought I wouldn't reach my due date this time. Yet here I am!

Last month I told you all about the launch of the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire (ZSH) and last weekend was the official launch of the charity. Incorporating the award winning Paradise Wildlife Park brand, ZSH will focus on education and animal conservation. I wasn't able to make the launch, with it being so close to my due date I needed to stay close to home! I was really pleased to hear that the launch was a success with over 300 guests from the world of conservation, business, music and TV rubbing shoulders with Paradise Wildlife Park’s friends, family, supporters and animals, and even the sun made an appearance!
