One of the most exciting things about this summer so far as been the release of Despicable Me 3, the latest movie featuring the adventures of Gru, Lucy, Margo, Edith and Agnes - and, of course, the Minions! Both Noah and Jude are huge fans, especially Noah, and they had been waiting excitedly for months to see the new film. Ian made their wish come true by taking them to see it at the start of the school holidays and to continue the Minion-mayhem throughout the summer they were sent a big bundle of Despicable Me 3 merchandise to enjoy!
The most exciting thing for Jude has been his new scooter and helmet, which both feature some Minion characters on them. Don't ask me which ones as I can just about remember Bob and Kevin, after that I struggle to remember which is which! Jude has loved scooting about around the garden and has very quickly learnt how to keep his balance and how to steer. He is going to really love scooting to and from preschool on it come September.
The boys have loved playing "tennis" with their new bat and ball set. Their aim isn't quite on point yet, bless them, but at least they're having fun! Noah is really excited about wearing his new swimming trunks when we head to the beach, he's also got a super new Despicable Me 3 towel to match. And for any little scrapes or grazes, which are pretty inevitable with young children, we've even got some fab Minion-themed plasters to help make it all better!
