Last month Essie turned one and a few days later took her first steps. Since then there's been no stopping her. She tears through the house like a tiny Tasmanian devil and is into evvvvverything. It's a delight to watch her playing and learning and her collection of carefully chosen toys is steadily growing. We were sent a Hape Tito the Turtle Pull Along toy to review which is a great addition and ideal for little ones who have just started to walk.
Hape are committed to sustainability and make toys which are compliant with international stardanrs of safety and quality. The Hape Tito Pull Along toy is made out of FSC-certified wood painted with child-friendly green paints. It has four rubber-rimmed wheels and has a shell on his back which has a Perspex centre with clear and green liquids inside.
When Tito is pulled by the string or pushed along, the shell rolls and the liquid inside swirls around which is fun and interesting for Essie to watch. She likes to pull Tito along as she walks or sits down and pushes him across the floor. The shell can also be taken off altogether and played with separately, which is what Jude likes to do! He takes the shell and rolls it across the floor, seeing how far it will go before toppling sideways. Luckily this is a robust and sturdy toy, so I'm sure Essie won't have to worry about her big brothers breaking it!
It is such a lovely toy and ideal for babies who are learning to walk and balance. Hape Tito the Turtle Pull Along is suitable for ages 10m+. It costs £14.99 and is available to buy online from Amazon.
With thanks to Hape for sending us this toy to review.
